"What happened to your early moment of Decision?"
Saw a comment from Blue Devil Knight on DG's site and I think I'd let the Gang know what I've been up to.
Chesswise -- not much. I have done no organized training since ... well , when was that last post? I've been pretty wrapped up in making a career change. For 14 years or so, I've been a computer geek. I enjoyed it for many years, but I'm ready to move on. Starting in August, I will be a middle school math teacher. It makes sense really. All the things that attract me to chess attract me to teaching -- the big money, the chicks, the fame.
So that's what I'm doing with me spare time lately. Not chess. I'm not sure when (or if) I will return to my Quest for the Holy Grail. If I do, you all will be the first to know.
It warms my heart to see the Knights are still thriving.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but you want to teach evil junior high aged kids why?
It sounds like fun. Maybe you can start a chess club at the school once you settle in.

Tempo -- Nah, those were 38s. they're all gone. How's the weight loss coming?
Blunderprone and Blue Devil Knight -- Summer's off will be nice. I've had to take all of my vacation for the last 3 years to go to trainig, so ANY vacation will be a nice change. Perhaps I might could pick up a chess book or hit one of them big tourneys.

Still holding at my goal weight. I have better at holding my weight losses than my chess gains. You gonna come back and join us again at KOTRB?

Nah, I don't like to talk about myself the whole time:)
Besides that I don't like to be remembered of the fact that there is an area where I'm WEAK. Litterally.
But the KOTRB have my greatest admiration and my best wishes.
