Did I say 100?

I really ought to think twice before I lay out these challenges/quests. I've been doing some research and come to the conclusion that 100 days is ... like ... a long time. I'm still working out the math with leap years and all, but i'm pretty sure it's more than 3 months.

Oh well. Nothing for it except to keep going.

24 days down, 76 to go.

  • Stay after it! You can do it. . .

BTW, did you ever see a ratings increase after the Circles?

  • My USCF rating went up 150 points and probably would have gone up more if I had played more games. It appears about 100 of that was permanent. You can check it out here .

    How about you? Any stats?

  • Hi Don,

i carfully followed your quest through de la maza training and enjoyed it very much!

I start a "pseudo" de la maza training with a five circle program of tactical basics and after that the CT Art 3.0 (on the way to me). Im very interessted how my rating will change...

I think this kind of chess training dependents from a lot of variables... Discipline, stamina/patience, creativ thinking and also fun and "willing to do this"!! I think the rating will improve much more with the program if we know this kind of variables...

Hope to read more from you and your commentators...
